JAMMU, May 20: Dogra Law College organized an alumni meet ‘Ek Mulaquat’.
The objective of the event was to engage with alumni and reconnect them with their friends, seniors, juniors, mentors and faculty members.
The event began with an introduction by Humera Firdous, a penultimate year student of BA LLB, followed by presentation of sapling by Prof. Darshana, Director, DGC & CD to Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust and the lighting of traditional lamps by the dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Gulchain Singh Charak said, “We at Dogra Law College are keen to provide all of our past students a platform to stay in touch amongst them and also stay committed to the institute and students across different batches including the current batches.”
Prof. V.P Magotra, Principal, Dogra Law College in welcome address applauded the achievements of the alumni in different spheres of life.
The alumni who shared their experiences were Vinod Saini, president DLC Alumni; Sachin Dev, vice president; Rohit Sharma, president Young Lawyer Association; Geetanjali Bhagat and Alisha Bhagat, POs J&K HC and many others.
Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust also spoke on the occasion.
Around 40 Alumni from various batches participated in the alumni meet.
Vote of thanks was presented by Shuchi Sharma, Senior Faculty Member, Dogra Law College.
