JAMMU, Nov 9: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta paid tributes to the martyrs of army and BSF who laid their lives while foiling infiltrate on Line of Control in Machil sector of Kupwara yesterday.
Candles were lit and flower petals were showered on the portraits of martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion Ashok Gupta said that they (martyrs) sacrificed their lives to protect our country and to keep us safe and secure.
He also paid tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives this year and remembered Colonel Ashutosh Sharma, Major Anup Sood, Naik Rajesh, Lance Naik Dinesh and various others brave-hearts.
He saluted the supreme sacrifice of jawans and lauded the courage and valour they displayed while protecting the integrity and sovereignty of our country.
Shiv Sena leader said nation will always remain indebted to brave hearts who laid their lives for the nation.
Abhishek, Ashish, Prem, Rampal, Kalu, Naresh, Pinka, Raju and others were also present.
