DODA, July 26: The 60 km long Doda-Thathri-Bhallessa road was last evening blocked near Tehsil Headquarters Kahara due to massive landslides and the traffic on this road has been stopped.
Closure of the road has left hundreds of passengers stranded.
An official said that administration has started the restoration work while vehicles carrying essential commodities as well as passengers remained stuck at Kahara.
Inspector Vikerm Singh informed that police along with other agencies are trying to restore the road for traffic as soon as possible.
He also said that one-way traffic on Thatri-Doda-Gandoh has been opened for the movement of light vehicles.
