JAMMU, Apr 23: Family members of Dr Prabjot Chalotra, who died recently after reportedly slipping into a gorge in Doda district, have demanded a fair and thorough investigation into the incident, raising doubts over the circumstances surrounding his death.
The family claimed that no visible injury marks were found on the body recovered from the deep gorge and questioned the absence of members from the house he had visited, stating none of them were present at the hospital when his body was brought there.
They further alleged that Dr Prabjot’s social media accounts were deleted after his death, terming it suspicious as he was active online.
Citing these concerns, the family has urged the authorities to conduct a detailed probe to ascertain the exact cause of death.
