JAMMU: Governor N N Vohra on Thursday asked newly appointed Minister for Finance Mohammad Altaf Bukhari to regularise casual employees who have been working for several years now in various State Government departments.
Ms Bukhari had called on the Governor here at the Raj Bhavan.
The Governor urged Mr Bukhari to see that there was no further delay in finalization of the Government’s orders in regard to the regularization of casual employees who have been working for several years now.
The Minister, who is also holding Education portfolio, discussed with the Governor certain higher education policy issues which were earlier deliberated in a meeting held on March 6 by Governor with Education Minister and Vice-Chancellors of Kashmir and Jammu Universities. (AGENCIES)
