JAMMU, Dec 8: Amateur Theatre Group’s play “Do Kodi Ka Khel” has been selected for National Theatre Festival being organised by Punjab Natshala from December 8 to 17 at Amritsar.
The play was prepared in “An Actor Prepares”, a five week long theatre workshop organized by Amateur Theatre Group, in collaboration with National School of Drama. The play is Hindustani adaptation by Parimal Dutta of Bertolt Brecht’s famous play ‘Three Penny Opera”. The workshop was conducted by Ifra Mushtaq, who has also designed and directed the play.
Team of “Do Kodi Ka Khel” includes Sourav Verma, Delight William, Mohit Mehra, Sakshi Kaul, Aparna Kapoor, Indu Kerni, Azem Wani, Rohit Sangotra, Ankit Sharma, Vicky Kaw, Anil Sharma, Vivek Sangotra, Mohit Singh Chib, Ayaan Ali, Deepak Virdhi, Sunil Sharma, Pankaj Sharma, Junaid Kak, Sanket Chauhan and Suhail Gupta. The group will be headed by Mushtaq Kak, Director Amateur Theatre Group.
