DNWC plea to PDD authorities

JAMMU, Mar 26: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) has urged the Power Development Department (PDD) authorities to repair the feeders at Muthi Sump so that the water supply to the area is not disrupted.
President of the Committee, Behari Lal Raina approached SE PDD in this regard and urged him to put these feeders under essential services. The SE assured that issue will be resolved at the earliest.
The Committee, while expressing its satisfaction over the commencement of the long-awaited demand of black-topping project for the colony roads which finally commenced on March24 initially on Krishna Palace Road Durga Nagar ,after persistent efforts and advocacy by the DNWC, said the project is a significant milestone for the inhabitants of the area.
Raina emphasized that ensuring of timely completion of the works are not left unfinished. He said the DNWC remains committed to advocating for the welfare and development for a better and brighter future of the area.
He said that the deplorable condition of lanes and roads within the colony was a great concern for residents and transporters alike, posing serious threats to safety and convenience. However, with the initiation of the project, there is renewed hope among the people for improved infrastructure and enhanced living standards.
