DLSA educates people on social distancing norms

RAJOURI, May 14: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Rajouri organized many awareness programmes in last few days to educate the local residents of the district on social distancing.
The awareness programmes were organized under the patronage of Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Justice Gita Mittal and Executive Chairman JKSLSA, Justice Rajesh Bindal and under the supervision of its Chairman Jaffer Hussain Beig.
Through its Retainer Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs), DLSA educated the local residents, particularly the children, on maintain social distancing and also demonstrated them proper way of wearing masks and washing hands. The local residents were made receptive to maintain social distancing, wash hands regularly and to visit nearby doctor in case of any problem.
The Retainer Lawyers and PLVs also facilitated the local residents in resolving their problems relating to ration, LPG cylinders, transportation, cash withdrawal from the banks, pension related issues, procuring medicines etc as they were facing hardships due to lockdown.
