JAMMU, Dec 6: Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kathua Sanjeev Gupta today disbursed Rs 12.50 lakh to father of victim of Rassana rape and murder case as per the directions of the Delhi High Court.
The amount of compensation was awarded against some prominent media houses by the Chief Justice High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, Justice Gita Mittal when she was the Chief Justice (Acting) of High Court of Delhi, for disclosing the identity of the victim of the crime.
