Divjot of Jammu wins 5 titles in Mrs India Beauty Queen Pageant

JAMMU, Sept 11: Divjot Kour of Jammu has brought laurels to the State by winning five titles in a single pageant Mrs India Beauty Queen Contest, held last week at Chandigarh.
She was adjudged Mrs India Runner Up, Mrs J&K, Mrs Punjab, Mrs Congeniality and Mrs Talented.
Mrs India Beauty Queen Pageant 2018 was conducted by the organizers of MIBQ at Zirakpir, Chandigarh from September 5-9, 2018.
Divjot Kour, daughter of Harjinder Singh of Mohinder Nagar, Jammu, participated in the contest and won as many as five titles. Married to a serving Army officer, Col Baljeet Singh of Jammu, Divjot Kour is mother to 4 yrs old daughter. She will now be representing India abroad for various pageants.
The competition comprised of talent round, swim suit round, gown round and IQ round along with dress round. More than 200 participants were selected for competition however only top five made it to the finalist.
Mrs Divjot, who will now compete for international pageants abroad, said, “it would not have been possible without the support of my family members, especially my husband who always pushed me to achieve greater heights. I now look forward to assist many more ladies like me to achieve such feats and explore their true self”.
