JAMMU, Nov 7: Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari convened a meeting to review the progress on expansion of Jammu Airport here today.
Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned departments to expedite the ongoing works pertaining to mega project and asked them to work in synergy to ensure its timely completion.
During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner also sought status report about the progress of ongoing works and asked the officers to ensure strict adherence to quality norms and fixed timelines.
He further directed the concerned departments to gear up their men and machinery to complete the substantial task in a time bound manner. “Responsibilities will be fixed for any lapse in timely completion of fixed targets”, he asserted.
Deputy Commissioner, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Arun Manhas, Director Airports Authority of India (AAI) D K Gautam, senior officers from Army, Air Force and Police besides senior functionaries of Airport Authority, PWD, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, PDD, UEED, Animal Husbandry Department and other concerned departments were present in the meeting.
