JAMMU, Dec 26: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Ramesh Kumar today reviewed the establishment of Industrial Estates in the districts and the land related issues of Industries & Commerce Department and pending issues flagged by Project Monitoring Group (PMG).
The meeting was attended by Chief Conservator of Forest, Deputy Commissioner Samba, Director Industries and Commerce, Vice Chairman JDA, Chief Engineer PWD, MD SICOP besides senior officers of JPDCL, AIIMS, NHAI, Northern Railway and other concerned departments while all other DCs alongwith concerned officers participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
Threadbare discussions were held on various important issues and the Div Com reviewed in detail progress on each land issue of the Industries Department pending in the districts.
The concerned Deputy Commissioner apprised the Div Com about the present status of each case. It was informed that most of the issues have been resolved and other pending issues would be resolved soon.
He instructed DCs to resolve all pending land issues of the industries department on priority. He also directed district officers of Industries/ SICOP to be in regular touch with DCs and revenue officers for better coordination and to resolve issues on time.
The Div Com instructed DC Samba, Kathua, Jammu and Udhampur to demarcate the identified land and hand over the same to the Industries and Commerce Department for establishment of Industrial Estates. The DCs were also instructed to resolve the land issues for approach roads to the sites.
Meanwhile, the Div Com also reviewed pending issues of Project Monitoring Group (PMG) including issues of AIIMS Jammu, 4G, 5G Expansion Project, Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Project, Kiru HE Project, Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail link Project, 4 lanning of Ramban- Banihal Section of NH-44, Ring Road disbursement of land compensation.
The Div Com directed JPTCL to expedite the progress of 132 KV double circuit transmission lines from Katra to Reasi and Ramban to Sangaldan.
The concerned officers were asked to resolve all the issues hampering the progress.
