SRINAGAR, Dec 8: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr Asgar Samoon today released book of famous writer Safia Gulzar, wife of Director General of Fire and Emergency Services, Dr G M Bhat, at a function at SKICC.
The book titled “Lalwunnar” was the third one of Safia Gulzar, who has also written around 150 songs till date. Various singers, who include Wahid Jeelani, Vijay Malla, Deepali Wattal, Kiran Koul and Naina Saproo, have sung her songs.
DD Kashir and Radio Kashmir besides FM channels are also telecasting her songs in entertainment programmes.
Former Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh Justice Bilal Nazki, Director General of Fire and Emergency Services, Dr G M Bhat, SKICC Director Aiyaz Nazki, Dr Aziz Hajni and Wahid Jeelani were prominent among those present on the occasion.
The function was also organized to raise funds for a patient, who will undergo kidney transplant.
