JAMMU, Feb 11: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu today inaugurated Jan Aushadhi, a Generic Drug Store, at SMGS Hospital here today.
Among others, Secretary Red Cross Society R.C. Puri, Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital, Dr. Dara Singh, Senior Journalist Sohail Kazmi, General Secretary RCS State Branch, Roma Wani besides executive members of Red Cross and senior doctors were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Divisional Commissioner said that the Jan Aushadhi Drug Store is tenth store in the country which is being made functional in Jammu at SMGS Hospital to provide full range of generic medicines at cheaper rates to the customers.
He said that the store is managed by District Red Cross Society and coordinated by Bureau of Pharma, a Public Sector Undertaking of India.
