JAMMU, Oct 15: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration demanding district status for Jammu West Assembly Constituency and its bifurcation.
The protest was led by Sunil Dimple, JWAM leader who also demanded unification of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh again as one J&K State like before.
Addressing protesters Dimple said that elections under J&K as UT are not acceptable.

Dimple appealed to all the political parties like NC, Congress, Apni Party, PDP and their leaders to get united on one platform for the united struggle for restoration Statehood to J&K with special status with PoJK and Gilgit-Baltistan as part of new J&K State before the assembly elections.
Harbans Tandon, Ram Kapoor, Chaman Pawar, Sanjay Nagraj, Rakesh Pandoh and others were also present in the protest demonstration.
