District Police dedicates passenger shed to public

DODA, Apr 20: District Police dedicated a passenger shed to general public which was constructed on Doda-Bharat Road near Nalwa.
The shed was constructed under Civic Action Programme by District Police Doda under the supervision of Mumtaz Ahmed, SSP Doda.
The inauguration of shed was done by a local elder resident in the presence of Jaswant Singh DySP Headquarters Doda and SHO Police Station Doda Inspector Arun Parkash.
The locals of area expressed happiness and appreciated the efforts of police to initiate various programmes for the benefit of general public.
Moreover, COVID-19 protection kits were also distributed by District Police Doda among nearly 50 families of downtrodden section of the area under CAP and people were advised to follow the SOPs related to COVID-19, like wearing of masks, use of sanitizer, maintaining of physical distance etc.
Locals of the area urged the Police to carry out such program in future also for the benefit of general public.
