District level Sports Meet organized by NYK concludes

POONCH, Feb 23: Nehru Yuva Kendra, under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India, organized two days District Level Sports Meet at Jhullass ground in collaboration with Indian Army, here.
Eight Volleyball teams, four Kabaddi teams, three Kho-Kho teams and four Tug of War teams qualified from the various blocks of districts Poonch, besides 100 meters race (girls), 400 meters race (boys) was also held in the Meet.
In the valedictory function, DySP DAR, Mohan Lal Sharma was the chief guest, who distributed the prizes among the qualified players.
While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest instructed the youth to take part in games and sports to be fit and healthy.
Rayaz Ahmed Mir, District Youth Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch, Sarfraz Mir, chairman Sir Sayed Education Mission, Kanwal Kumar DDO NYK Poonch, Mohd Shafiq, Programme Coordinator NYK Poonch and Muzaffar Khawaja,  Chief Functionary Public Peace And Development  Foundation were also present on the occasion.
In this programme, the youth from various blocks of district POONCH, National Youth volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch and players participated.
