JAMMU, June 8: Distri-bution of ration and essential items among needy persons continued here.
Gandhi Global Family J&K distributed dry ration among 25 local needy families of Jagti in Jammu and 26 local families (of Shikarawalas) of Dal Lake in Srinagar, during relief camps organized separately in the twin capital cities of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir. 42nd Relief Camp was organized in presence of GGF President J&K, Padmashri Dr S P Varma in Jammu while 41st relief distribution camp was organised under the supervision of GGF J&K Secretary Zahoor Ahmed Ganai in Srinagar. Baba Sukhdev Sharma Head Priest Ballo ji Maharaj Temple Jagti, Er K K Mattoo GGF Advisor J&K, Jaswinder Singh Kuku GGF Advisor Jammu, Amit Varma, Sunny Sharma, Shubham Sharma and Ankush Varma distributed the relief in the premises of Ballo Ji Maharaj Temple, Jagti, Jammu. Zahoor Ahmed Ganai GGF J&K Secretary, Mahajabeen Bhat GGF Kashmir Women coordinator, Sabahat Gayoom and Shabir Ahmed distributed the relief material in interior of Dal Lake, Srinagar.
“We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind” distributed dry ration and COVID-19 hygiene kits among 70 families in distress at village Sohanjana of Phallan Mandaal area in Jammu. Among others, KK Sharma Director Floriculture (Retd) Chairman Editorial Board, Ajab Singh, Sukhdev Singh Executive Members of the trust, Sarpanch Sohanjana, Sub Inspector Anil Sharma Incharge Police Post Phalian Mandial, Naib Subedar Surjeet Singh, Harbans Kaur and heads of more than seventy families were present on the occasion.
‘The-SARA’ team led by its Director Dr. Raminder Jit Singh distributed essential food items among 11 families of migrant workers living in slum area in Sidhra Jammu.
