Distribution of ration, essential items continues

JAMMU, May 8: Distribution of ration and essential items among needy families continued here today.
Chairman All J&K Kissan Congress and Ex-Minister Choudhary Gharu Ram distributed dry ration to the needy people at village Badila Basti at Suchetgarh Constituency. He also distributed dry ration to 376 families of village Kaloyen through Captain Karanjit Singh General Secretary Jammu Rural.
On the request of Rajinder Sikka of Ward Number 2, Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC distributed food and other essential items among the needy families of Ward Number 2. ShubhLata Sharma UT Executive Member, Kuldeep Kandari District Jammu General Secretary, Parveen Kerni Mandal President, Rajinder Babu General Secretary Mandal, Gopal Sanotra Mandal Office Secretary, Sunita Wazir Mahila Morcha Mandal General Secretary and many others were also present on the occasion.
Essential relief contributed by Pawan Dev Singh, Vice President DCC in Pahari Mohalla (Ward Number 10) and Gurmeet Singh, General Secretary DCC in Peer Mitha (near Pir Baba, Ward Number 3), was delivered to the doorsteps of needy people. The team of DCC leaders was led by Yogesh Sawhney, Former Minister J&K and General Secretary JKPCC. Prominent leaders involved in the distribution work included SS Shingari Senior Congress leader, Neeraj Gupta Secretary PCC, DCC Vice President Ramakant Khajuria, Pawan Dev Singh Vice President DCC, Jyoti Vaid, Anoop Gupta, Sushant Gupta, etc.
Firdous Mingnoo JKPYC General Secretary distributed 46 ration kits to needy people in Kishtwar district.
Gandhi Global Family J&K distributed fresh vegetables among 200 needy migrant labour families. The relief material was distributed among needy families in presence of GGF President J&K Padmashri Dr S P Varma at Labour basti Circular road, Sunjwan and Resham Ghar of Jammu. Fresh vegetables were distributed among 140 labour families at Labour basti circular road, 50 labour families at Sunjwan by Abdul Majid Bichoo and 10 needy families of Resham Ghar by Ragav Changotra. Er KK Mattoo GGF Advisor and Former Chief Engineer PWD J&K Government, Abdul Majid Bichoo GGF Advisor Jammu, Dr Prem Sharma GGF Advisor Jammu, Jaswinder Singh GGF Advisor Jammu City, RS Baloria, Sanjeev Kohli GGF member, Choudhary Showkat Ali, Amit Varma, Ragav Changotra, Sanjay Kundal and Ankush Varma distributed the relief material.
Volunteers of Team Jammu and Yuva Jammu today jointly distributed dry ration to needy families living in Ward No 66 and 67 covering parts of Janipur, Lower Muthi, Upper Muthi and Lower Roop Nagar localities. Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal was also present on the occasion,
Jai Singh, Senior Congress Leader distributed essential items in Ward Number 69 to the 50 poor and needy people. On the occasion, Prabha Slathia, Anand Khajuria, Surinder Singh Latti, Harkirat Singh Sasan, Girish Raizada, Arun Singh, Adv Rahul Singh and Varun Singh were also present.
State Bank of India RS Pura situated near India-Pakistan border donated essential food items to needy people in the slum areas near RS Pura. RM RBO-2 Jammu Gurdeep Singh, CM Credit Ashwani Bhan, BM SBI RS Pura Jyoti Sharma and SHO Police Station RS Pura Inspector Jaipaul Sharma were also present.
All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) Jammu Provincial Incharge, Sanjay Singh Sandhu distributed ration among needy families at Channi, Trikuta Nagar and Parmandal areas.
Tarun Sharma, Founder and President Nat Manch and General Secretary Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha along with the members of his team distributed ration and food items to the needy people in different areas of Jammu slum areas.
RSS Swayamsevaks distributed ration in the localities of New Plots, Bohri, Shakti Nagar, Rajpura and Bhagwati Nagar areas in Jammu. Swayamsevaks are also running a community kitchen at Nai Basti Jammu which feed nearly eight hundred souls daily.
BJP District Vice President Anantnag and Councellor Mattan Rakesh Koul alongwith BJP Spokesperson Kulgam and Sarpanch Chowgam Vijay Raina distributed 50 ration kits at Purkhoo Migrant Camp in Domana area of Jammu.
Vishal Fotedar, Samvit Trisal, Sandeep Kisroo, Sarpanch Pulwama Sanjay Bhat and Booth President Purkhoo Camp Komal Kumari were also present on the occasion.
A distribution programme of dry ration kits, masks and other eatables was carried out today at the door step of 45 deserving and needy families by Lavish Social and Educational Trust in collaboration with Inspire Foundation in the areas of Hazoori Bagh, Udheywala, Akalpur, Barnai and Dharmal in Jammu. Vinod Pandita Chairman LSET, Kamna Raina President Inspire Foundation, Dolly Kachroo, Vishal Jotshi, Vijay Raina Sarpanch, Vinod Bhat, Vishal Fotedar and Sandeep Kisroo were also present on the occasion.
A girl scholar of Jammu University’s Law Department Nisha Sharma has providing essentials items like ration, masks, soaps and sanitizers in Preet Nagar, Digiana, Trikuta Nagar, Rani Talab, Talab Tillo, New Plot, Bagh-e-Bahu and Bari Brahmana areas.
