Sir,
This has reference to vulgarity displayed by two Pakistani hockey players after their team’s semifinal win over hosts India in the Chamipons Trophy.
It is quite disturbing to note that the players whether cricket or hockey belonging to any team forget sportsmanship, and indulge in rowdy behaviour. This way sports would lose its charm and spirit. Sports, it is taught to students in schools promotes goodwill among contesting teams, inculcates discipline and promotes peace. But nothing like that is seen now-a-days. Players have been found not only making obscene gestures, but also indulge in lewd remarks, fist fights and other vulgar tactics.
That is why people are losing interest in games, and no match is played in a spirit of game.
Yours etc…
