JAMMU, July 10: Displaced youth who have appeared for various posts under PM package held a protest demonstration here today demanding immediate release of the list.
The other activists who participated in the protest included Ajay Kachroo, Ashwani Mantoo, G P Singh and Rajiv Ji.
These candidates made an appeal to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and SSRB chairperson to release the list at an earliest as the interviews were held over two years back for the same.
The protesters alleged that PM package has already spoiled the precious years of the migrant youth and they have now become over-aged. Even they are not able to appear in private sector. They alleged the package was already delayed by so called self styled leaders who have nothing at stake.
The protesters said the youth are in great desperation as State Government was adopting delaying tactics in implementation of PM Package which is the cause of concern.
They said though announced in 2008, the PM package has not been implemented in eight long years and only 2000 displaced youth were given jobs out of 6000 job package till date.
