Displaced Youth Forum calls on Drabu, Indrabi

JAMMU, Aug 26: Sanjay Koul chairman All J&K Displaced Youth Forum and K.P.Welfare Forum on behalf of Kashmiri Pandits youth employed under Prime Ministers Special Employment Package for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back to Valley, today met Dr.Haseeb Drabu Minister for Finance and Syed Farooq Ahmed Indrabi,  MLA Dooru, and discussed some burning issue of displaced people with them.
They informed them that a mere joke  has been played with the displaced Pandits on the pretext of employment in the Kashmir Valley.
While having a brief discussion regarding deduction of HRA and Delayed salaries with Minister for Finance, Dr. Drabu they informed him of the plight of displaced people.
He assured them for early solution of all the issues.
Sanjay Koul said that the initiative of employing Kashmiri Pandit youth under PM’s Employment Package was the first step towards Kashmiri Pandits return to their homes and lives an honorable and dignified life. However ironically the authorities have been finding ways and means to harass these employees in various ways to turn this whole return package into a flop show as these employees are being denied salaries for months together forcing many of them to beg before their colleagues for their livelihood.
He said that the State as well as Central Government is befooling the people on rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley with honour and dignity as till date only politics is being played in the name of rehabilitation and nothing positive has been done for rehabilitating the 1900 employees who are working here for last five and half years.
The other members of the delegation included Rakesh Koul, Kishanji, Shakti Ji, Chand Ji, B L Koul and Rakesh.
