JAMMU, Oct 12: Displaced Medical Education Department Pensioners Welfare Association in its meeting held under the chairmanship of P K Kaul urged the Government to redress their long pending demands.
As per a release, the meeting was also addressed by P K Peshin. He urged the Government to release the 10 percent DA from January 2014 and seven percent from July 2014.
P K Kaul said when Central Government has already given these two installments of DA to its pensioners and employees why the State Government has delayed the release of the same.
He said the pensioners are living a hand to mouth life during these hard days. S C Fotedar, B K Koul, G S Zadoo, M L Raina and others attended the meeting.
