RAMBAN, Oct 12: MLA, Ramban, Ashok Kumar today inaugurated a three room school building of Upper Primary School at Kasal Panchayat in Ramban.
The building was constructed by the PWD(R&B) Department at a cost of Rs.7.79 lakh under the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan.
Incharge ZEO,Batote, AR Malik, Headmaster, Narinder Sharma, students, teachers, local Sarpanch Gulzar Ahmed, Panches and other prominent people of the area including Janak Singh and Preetam Singh were present on the occasion .
The MLA said that during his tenure as many as 20 new High Schools were sanctioned, 500 new school buildings were constructed and 200 new primary and middle schools were sanctioned in Ramban.
He underlined the need of better coordination between the teachers, students and their parents for better results.
He assured that as soon as funds under CDF are available to him he would sanction 50 desks for the school and directed the Incharge ZEO,AR Malik to take up the matter with the Youth Services and Sports Department for the construction of ground with a boundary wall in the school.
