JAMMU, Mar 6: Displaced Medical Pensioners Welfare Association in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of P K Koul highlighted the various demands of the pensioners.
As per a release, addressing the meeting P K Peshin a Trade Union leader appealed the new Government to release the pending installments of DA from January and July 2014 in favour of pensioners of the State.
P K Koul appealed the Finance Department to simplify the verification of pensioners and urged the Government to increase the Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month. S C Fotedar, G S Zadoo, M L Raina, B K Koul and others were present in the meeting.
