JAMMU, Sept 4: The BJP State-spokesperson, Arun Gupta, today expressed his displeasure over the machinations of some local political parties which are out of power at present.
In a statement issued here today, he remarked, “the previous Governments in Jammu and Kashmir were incompetent and without a vision. These self-professed saviours of J&K did not do anything for development of the State. First they failed to do anything for the State and now, they are misleading people by spreading lies.”
On the gross misinformation being spread over the topic of Smart-cities, Gupta said, “It is dispiriting to see that some disgruntled politicians in Jammu have never shown any intent for the betterment of the State when they were in power. Now, when they have nothing useful to do, they are spreading misinformation just to incite anger of the public. ”
He said the Smart cities development by Centre will be done in phases and in the first phase only 20 cities will be chosen to be made a model for the cities that fall in the next two phases.
