The Service Selection Board conducted viva voce of successful candidates who had cleared written examination for the post of teacher in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Instead of directions given by the Chief Minister to expedite the recruitment process, the SSB has not declared the result of successful candidates from Jammu region. However the result of candidates of most of the districts of Kashmir Division has been declared and the candidates are joining the education department.
It seems that the Government is focused on Kashmir region only . The candidates of Kashmir division always enjoy preference like early advertisement, early appointment, early joining and hence early promotions as compared to Jammu based candidates. Many months have gone by and the aspirants of Jammu based districts like Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Rajouri, Doda etc are waiting eagerly for the final result of selection list of teachers.
