JAMMU, Oct 6: Janta Dal (Secular) today demanded the State Government to get vacated all the forest land and other Government lands from the possession of politicians, bureaucrats and other illegal occupants.
Addressing the office bearers of the Party at its Headquarters here, its State president, Dhanraj Bargotra asked the Government to get released all the Government land from the illegal occupants and disclose their names whether they are politicians or bureaucrats. Besides, he also demanded to increase the subsidized quota of LPG cylinders and ration quota for the general public.
Further, Bargotra criticized the Government for not giving proper attention towards Government Schools, due to which the parents of the students have to move towards Private Schools, which charge high fees and other expenditures. He also demanded the Government to issue a separate employment package for educated youths of Jammu.
The meeting also criticized the functioning of the Traffic Department, alleging that mismanagement of the traffic has created havoc in the city.
