Srinagar, May 22: Continuing drive to improve the work culture and punctuality in sub-ordinate offices, Director Agriculture Kashmir, Altaf Ajaz Andrabi made a surprise visit to the various offices in the complex of Chief Agriculture Officer, Srinagar and checked the attendance.
During his visit 32 employees including 5 officers were found absent from their duties. Director on spot ordered an administrative action against the absentees as per J&K Civil Services Rules.
Director Agriculture Kashmir from time to time has passed the instructions through various circulars to strictly adhere to office timings and advocated for improving work culture. It has been observed that due seriousness is not being accorded by the controlling officers to these circular instructions, for taking immediate and appropriate action against the officers and officials staying away from their duties without prior permission.
