NEW DELHI, Feb 12: The productivity movement and its tenets have been the guiding light at Indian Oil to achieve heightened performance in the competitive environment.
Rajkumar Ghosh, Director (Refineries) shared this while flagging-off “Productivity Week” celebrations at Refineries Headquarters here with the administering of the Productivity Pledge to senior Indian Oil executives, functional heads, collectives and IOCians.
He said that productivity should be imbibed as a culture and practiced as an agent of bringing about continuous betterment and prosperity.
“Our refineries across Indian Oil have also been taking various steps for productivity improvement aimed at profitability, he added.
On the occasion, Ghosh also unveiled a poster created on the year’s given theme-Lean Management for Productivity Enhancement.
Director also launched an intranet module ‘AKS Patra’ on the Training Needs Identification (TNI) of the employees applicable across Refineries Division.
An online ‘Vocational Training Module’ (VTM) was also launched on the occasion to streamline the process of imparting summer training to students from various institutions across Refineries Division.
