UDHAMPUR, Oct 17: A rank pinning ceremony of the newly promoted Assistant Sub Inspectors of Executive Police was held at Police Academy here.
On the occasion, Dr SD Singh, IGP, Director Police Academy Udhampur and Danesh Rana, IGP Armed/IRP Zone Jammu (Chairman Examination Board of Probationer DySPs and SIs) pinned the ranks to newly promoted ASIs.
The newly promoted officers included ASI Jagdev Singh, ASI Rajinder Singh, ASI Zarina Malik and ASI Raghbir Singh.
Faisal Qureshi, SSP, Assistant Director (Admn), Ramesh Kataria, Administrative Officer, KK Sharma, DySP (Q) and other officers of Police Academy were present on the occasion.
Dr Jamwal advised the promotees to work with enthusiasm and highest degree of dedication. He emphasized that the promotion not only upgrades the working status in the police department, but also adds more responsibilities and challenges in their new working field.
