JAMMU, Sept 22: A brain storming session on Centrally Sponsored Schemes viz ‘One District One Product (ODOP)’, National Horticulture Board (NHB), Agricultural Infrastructure Development Fund (AIDF) Animal Husbandry Infrastructural Development Fund (AHIDF) and Fisheries Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF) was held at Conference Hall of Kissan Ghar Narwal Jammu under the chairmanship of Vikas Sharma Director Horticulture (P&M) UT of J&K wherein managers of all Lead Banks progressive growers of Jammu division attended the session.
Assistant General Manager NABARD and Deputy Director National Horticulture Board (NHB) and Technical Officer from Animal Husbandry Department Srinagar gave a detailed presentation on the various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and also addressed the queries raised by participants. The officers from lead Banks cleared the doubts about the sanctioning of loans and related formalities.
The participants showed keen interest in the schemes and wholeheartedly appreciated the role of Horticulture (P&M) Department in bringing together various agencies involved in these schemes at one platform.
