JAMMU, Sept 8: A protest demonstration was held today against the 62 days Kashmir unrest and failure of the State Government to control the law and order situation in the Valley by Jammu West Assembly Movement here today. The protestors also demanded dismissal of the State Government and imposition of Governor’s rule in the State.
The protest was led by Sunil Dimple chairman of the Movement. He warned against withdrawal of AFSPA and holding of talks with Pakistan which he termed is a rogue State.
He alleged the law and order situation in the State is worsening every day and CM Mehbooba Mufti is not allowing the Central Government to impose the Governor rule in the State to control the situation.
He alleged the separatists Hurriyat leaders have made the people of Valley including Kashmiri Muslims, Pandits and Sikhs their hostages and are threatening them to join anti-India freedom rallies and raise anti-India slogans.
Dimple said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should not hold Indo-Pak talks.
He said so much humiliation was faced by All Party Delegation from Pakistan agents the Hurriyat leaders who refused to hold talks when all the members of the delegation were in favor of the talks with the stake holders. He said it is surprising that every day attacks are made on the security forces with grenades and guns and still the members of the delegation are asking for revocation of AFSPA.
