Dimple demands statehood restoration

JAMMU, July 12: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) leader, Sunil Dimple has started indefinite agitation against stopping Darbar Move practice and for restoration of statehood with special status to J&K.
In a handout Dimple appealed traders and transporters to unite against the move of Government to stop Darbar Move practice.
He led a protest demonstration in support of his demands and claimed that the Government will destroy all the business, trade, transport and tourism and the coming generation of traders and transporters will die with poverty due to no trade.
The JWAM leader claimed support of traders and transporters of Raghunath Bazar, Kanak Mandi, Link Road, Residency Road, Gumat, Gandhi Nagar, Purani Mandi and Jain Bazar.
“Darbar Move practice is a bond of love with Kashmir and Jammu people,” he said.
He alleged that BJP is destroying history, identity, culture, demography and insulting the decision taken by Maharajas of J&K by stopping 150 years old Darbar Move practice.
Harbans Tandon, Sanjay Nagraj, Dalep Dogra, Verinder Khajuria, Sushil Mahjan, S. Koki Singh, Ashok Khanna, Jatinder Gupta, Thodu Ram and others were also present on the occasion.
