Srinagar, Feb 9: As part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, a week-long Bharat Darshan tour was flagged off today by DIG SKR Anantnag, Altaf Ahmad Khan.
The tour involves 65 students and 3 police officials as caretakers from district Anantnag.
A ceremony was organized at District Police Lines Anantnag for this purpose, attended by DIG SKR along with SP Ops Anantnag Furqan Qadi, SP HQRS Anantnag Sajad Ahmad, and IC DySP DAR Anantnag Asif Mustafa, who flagged off the touring students.
Other officers and officials of J&K Police were also present at the occasion.
During interactions with the touring students, DIG SKR advised them to make the most of the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country.
He encouraged them to embrace the greatness of the country and its unity in diversity.
The tour, organized by J&K Police, includes all boarding and lodging facilities, as well as air tickets and logistical support for the touring students.
During the tour, the students will visit many historical places in New Delhi and Hyderabad.
