UDHAMPUR, Aug 4: DIG of Police DKR Range Dr Sunil Gupta today visited Udhampur and conducted the formal inspection for the year 2021-22 of the District.
The DIG was received at DPO Udhampur by SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar and other officers where he conducted the inspection of records of various branches and was briefed about working of different units of DPO by concerned incharge.
Thereafter, DIG visited District Police Lines Udhampur where he was given the Guard of Honour. During inspection, the DIG inspected different units in DPL including Kot, Stores, Barracks, Mess, Welfare Centre etc. The officer also inspected MT fleet of District Police Udhampur at DPL.
He interacted with the officers of District Police Udhampur and reviewed their working and ascertained their requirements with respect to manpower, equipment and mobility. The officers who were also present during the inspection include Mohd Anwar Ul Haq (ASP Udhampur) and Shaid Nahiem (Deputy SP DAR Udhampur).
The overall functioning of the District was found very good for the period under inspection.
