DIG distributes relief among 107 families

Srinagar, May 14: Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir  Garib Dass today distributed relief to the 107 families and provided school books and uniforms among flood affected students of village Haritar in a relief distribution function held in DPL Sopore.
In order to provide succor to the poor and needy residents of village Haritar, Sopore who suffered heavy losses in the devastating floods last year, today Sopore Police organized a relief distribution function at District Police Lines Sopore.
“During the function DIG NKR Baramulla, distributed school kit containing a bag, school uniform, school shoe etc. among 70 poor students of four Government schools located in village Haritar area – GBHS Radiagam, GPS Wandakpora, GPS Akhoonpora and GPS Hakteng while as 107 families of village Wandakpora, Radiagam, Akhoonpora, were provided given 2 bedding sets each consisting of one Mattress, one quilt, two pillows and one kitchen set as a relief.
The function was also attended by SSP Sopore Abdul Qayoom and other officers of Police District Sopore.
