JAMMU, Nov 20: Different organizations here today staged protest demonstrations and condemned Pakistan for yesterday’s terrorist attack near Ban Toll Plaza in Nagrota area.
J&K BJP OBC Morcha staged a protest demonstration outside Press Club Jammu and torched the effigy of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and raised slogans against Pakistan.
The protest was held under the leadership of Braham Jyot Satti, Morcha president wherein the protesters condemned the “cowardly attack by Pakistan sponsored terrorists” at Nagrota near Jammu.
Neelam Virdhi, J&K Morcha vice president; Sunil Prajapati, publicity secretary; Ravi Mehra and Rajesh Dogra—both office secretaries; Anil Balgotra, district Jammu Morcha president; Kewal Verma, Jammu West president; district vice presidents, Gourav Sikka, Suresh Verma, Sunny Sodhi, Parveen Badyal, Ashok Salgotra, district general secretary; Rakesh, Gulshan Prajapati, Vicky, Somnath and others were also present in the protest.
Activists of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena led by their president, Ashok Gupta staged a protest demonstration against Pakistan by burning its flag along with the pictures of Pakistan PM Imran Khan and PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti.
Addressing protesters Ashok Gupta expressed resentment against the terrorist attack in Nagrota.
He said that the attack by terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad was done to disturb DDC elections.
Gupta called Pakistan a ‘rogue nation whose only ideology is to disrupt peace’.
He said after the blocking of Pakistan funding to stone throwers in Kashmir, it (Pakistan) has started sending more militants to disrupt peace in J&K.
Prominent among protesters were Abhishek, Ashish, Bantu, Manu, Naresh, Prem, Shilpi and others.
Activists of Bajrang Dal staged a protest demonstration and expressed anger against the terrorist attack at Nagrota.
The protest was led by Dal leader, Rakesh Bajrangi who said that Pakistan should mend its ways else the forces of India are very much eager to teach it (Pakistan) a lesson.
He also flayed the surrender policy of the government to provide jobs to the terrorists on surrendering and torched the flag of Pakistan.
The protesters raised pro-India and anti-Pakistan slogans.
Atul Sharma, Balu Rajan, Sher Singh, Sunny Thakur, Rahul, Gulshan and others were also present in the protest.
