JAMMU, Jan 16: District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Poonch organized a Quiz Competition at Government Higher Secondary School Sheesh Mahal, here.
The event was presided over by Principal of the School, Riaz Mir.
The objective of the Competition was to inculcate competitive spirit among the students.
The team of Govt High School Jhulass bagged 1st position, while Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Ponch and Govt High School Purani Mandi claimed 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
The prizes were distributed by the chief guest among the winners on the occasion.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Kasturi Lal and Harish Kumar, while Gurmeet Singh and Balwinder Singh were the scorers.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Richa Sahrma, Ashok Kumar, Satvinder Singh, Jyoti Sahrma, Manmohan Singh and Sumera Shafi.
