SRINAGAR, Nov 19: The divisional administration has set up a helpline at the Police Control Room, Srinagar to facilitate people in the event of any emergency or any public issue.
According to Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon, the step has been taken by the divisional administration in view of the approaching winter and the consequent issues people of the Valley are faced with. He said the helpline No. 100 would be operational round the clock and people can register their problems and grievances for administration to respond promptly.
He said all Deputy Commissioners have been sensitized in this regard and appealed people to use the helpline if they face any difficulty in getting services like power, drinking water, ration, healthcare or issues related to weather vagaries like snow clearance, road connectivity so that the respective district administrations or departments can take appropriate and immediate actions.
