DHSK reviews healthcare arrangements for Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar, June 4: The Director of Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Rather, undertook a visit to Baltal and Sonamarg today to assess the healthcare arrangements being made for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.
During his visit, Dr Rather presided over a comprehensive review meeting at Sonamarg, where he meticulously inspected the preparations being put in place for the pilgrimage. He carefully assessed the arrangements to ensure that they meet the required standards.
Furthermore, Dr. Rather took the opportunity to visit the newly constructed hospital building, currently under development.
He also reviewed the progress of the construction work, ensuring that it aligned with the desired timeline. Additionally, he paid a visit to the under-construction DRDO Hospital, expressing contentment with the ongoing construction progress.
On the occasion, he said that all necessary arrangements will be completed well ahead of time, ensuring a seamless and successful yatra experience for the pilgrims.
“The Yatra holds immense significance for the people of the region, and the Government is sparing no efforts to ensure a smooth pilgrimage,” stated Dr Rather.
He further emphasized that preparations for the Yatra are in full swing, with the government taking all necessary measures to ensure its grand success.
