SRINAGAR, May 23: The Government today shifted Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Madhu Khullar and attached Dy Controller (Drug) Jammu.
An official spokesman said that in view of a PIL pending in the State High Court in connection with the spurious drugs issue in the State, the Government today shifted Director, Health Services Jammu Dr Madhu Khullar and posted as in-charge Project Director, J&K AIDS Control and Prevention Society on deputation basis, relieving Commissioner/ Secretary to Govt, Health and Medical Education Department of the additional charge of the post.
Dr Brigu Dutt Sharma, in-charge Malariologist Officer, Jammu, the senior most doctor holding the post of the rank of Deputy Director in the Director of Health Services Jammu shall work as Director Health Services Jammu, till further orders.
Incharge Deputy Drug Controller (DDC), Jammu Lotika Khajuria has been attached to the office of Drug Controller till further orders. Farida Parveen, Assistant controller ( Drug) in the office of Drug Controller shall look after the work of Dy Controller Drugs Jammu in addition to her own duties.
The Government also ordered the transfer of Reva Gupta, Administrator Associated Hospitals Jammu and posted her as Registrar J&K Special Tribunal vice Anil Sharma who has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Labour and Employment Department.
Reva Gupta was also a member of Purchase Committee of Drugs.
