JAMMU, Nov 29: In a major reshuffle at top level in Jammu University, Prof Rajni Dhingra of the Department of Home Science was today given the charge of Registrar with immediate effect while Prof Rajni Kant of the Department of Physics, has been assigned the charge of Controller of Examination.
Prof Kulwant Singh of the Law Department, who was earlier holding the charge of Controller Examination, shall now function as Director DDE ( Directorate of Distance Education), swapping his position with Prof Rajni Kant while Prof Naresh Padha of the Department of Physics, has been given additional charge of the post of Dean Research Studies, relieving Prof Rajni Dhingra.
The reshuffle at the top level in Jammu University was necessitated following resignation of Prof R K Ganjoo from the post of Registrar, which he held as additional charge for two months and took initiatives to streamline the university administration.
“Consequent upon resignation of Prof R K Ganjoo as Registrar JU, Prof Rajni Dhingra shall functioning as Registrar University of Jammu, till further orders, in addition to her existing duties,” read the order, issued today by the University Establishment.
Prof Rajni Dhingra, who was earlier acting as Dean Research Studies, has been relieved from the post, which has been now assigned to Prof Naresh Padha as additional charge. Prof Rajni Kant as the Incharge Director DDE and Prof Kulwant Singh as Incharge Controller of Examination, have swapped their positions .
