Srinagar, June 20: Director General of Prisons K. Rejendra today visited Central Jail and directed the officials to take measures for up-gradation of vocational training facilities in the jail.
Rajendra stressed upon the jail authorities for furthering various reformative programmes that can go a long way in making them self reliant so that they cannot face any problem in the society after their release. He also interacted with the jail inmates regarding the facilities available to them in the jail.
He was accompanied by DIG prisons Mohammad Sultan Lone.
The jail inmates showed their satisfaction over the facilities being provided to them.
