JAMMU, May 15: Workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta organized a protest rally and vegetable and fruit sellers also joined it to protest against the misbehavior by JMC employee.
Referring to a recent incident of BC Road wherein a JMC employee thrashed a Rehri Wala with his other colleagues after a conversation, Gupta said rather imposing fine on shopkeepers, JMC should seal factories manufacturing illegal plastic and jail their owners.
He said that there are big wholesalers of polythene bags in Shalimar, Moti Bazar, Bakshi Nagar etc and they should also be checked.
“If polythene bags are not manufactured then vegetable and fruit vendors could not be able to use them,” he further said.
Abhishek, Raju, Kalu, Prem and others were also present in the protest.
