JAMMU, Mar 26: Workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS), here today, under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally demanding an enquiry into genocide of Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) and jailing of the culprits behind the same.
Gupta said that the enquiry should determine the causes behind the genocide and the authorities should constitute an independent inquiry committee consisting five members to identify the perpetrators and those behind them.
DF&SS leader claimed that authorities responsible for maintaining law and order failed that time which led to the killing of Tikka Lal Taploo, a retired judge and many others during the genocide of KPs.
“The days of January 18, 19, 20 and 21 in the year 1989 witnessed zero governance in Kashmir valley,” he maintained adding that the release of 70 militants in 1989 should be enquired as they became topmost militant commander later on.
Prominent among protesters were Keemti Jaat, Deepu, Kalu, Naresh, Ashish, Ashu, Geeta, Bhajo, Nanki, Krishna, Ram Pal, Abhishek and others.
