DFO involved in BOPEE scam suspended

JAMMU, May 16: Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Marwah involved in Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) scam and arrested by Crime Branch Kashmir has been suspended.
As per official spokesman, DFO Marwah Altaf Hussain, who was involved in BOPEE scam and arrested by Crime Branch Kashmir, has been placed under suspension.
The DFO Marwah has been lodged in Srinagar Jail.
Meanwhile, Forest Minister Rajiv Jasrotia had recommended the suspension of DFO Marwah and accordingly he has been suspended.
“One of my Cabinet colleague this evening informed me that DFO Marwah is in jail for the past one week and accordingly recommended for suspension of the officer”, he said.
When contacted, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) Manoj Pant confirmed the suspension of the DFO Marwah.
