JAMMU, Dec 28: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu East Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the upgradation work of the auto stand at ward number 5, here. The project will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 lakh.
MLA was accompanied by JMC officials XEn Joginder Paul, JE RK Koul and senior BJP leaders namely Ramesh Sharma, Kuldeep Kandhari, Gopal Gupta, Vijay Mahajan, Jia Lal, Rajesh, Surinder Annand, Vinod, Suraj Parkash Sharma, Balraj Gupta, Girdhari Lal, Ashoka, Jaspal, Kaka Pahalwan and Kundan.
While speaking, Rajesh Gupta said that BJP Government has changed the narrative in J&K from security to development and the results are on the ground for everybody to see. More and more developmental works are in the pipeline and it is our endeavour to see that Jammu finds inclusion in the Smart City list, he added.
Gupta said that the response of the BJP Government to any challenge has always been swift and mature without any procrastination. In Jammu East, we have to brace up to facilitate traffic mobility with increased rush due to darbar move, he added.
He said that Jammu East is moving in a progressive manner and soon its example would be given as the Model Constituencies of the State.
Among others present were Prof Sham, PC Gupta, Rajeev Bhardwaj, Rajinder Gupta, Amit Gupta, Vinay Gupta, Rajesh Nischal and Kartar Gupta.
