Development without social justice meaningless: AIBCU

JAMMU, Nov 24: Pointing out that the Congress manifesto even did not mention the issue of due share of 27 % reservation of OBCs, All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today maintained that any development without social justice is meaningless, senseless and baseless.
“In sixteen-point manifesto of Congress and other political parties likely to follow the State’s OBCs whose population in the State is 60% and whose due share of 27% reservation, has been marred by NC and Congress, as they could not get even a mention in the manifesto”, said president, AIBCU, Abdul Majid Malik.
Both Prof Soz and Azad have adopted anti-people and treacherous policies only to rule the State with no public interests, he said adding promises made in manifesto is only an election formality.
Nobody stopped the ruling political parties to develop the State and what type of development these political parties want to bring in the State as promising reservation to IB people is a funny manifesto, he asserted.
Malik said that those who did not obey the Apex Court’s order regarding OBC reservation in the State, talks about the Article 370. They said these parties only misused the Article for their dynasty rule.
He said that manifestoes side-lining the majority population of the State called OBCs are nothing but a mutual understanding of these political parties to loot the due rights of the poor people as had been done since 1947 in general and since 1992 in particular after Apex Court’s Judgment on Mandal Report.
In view of the Congress manifesto and attitude of other political parties, State OBCs have released only one point manifesto to uproot the Congress; NC and PDP in the State who have looted the due share of the OBCs in particular and marred the rights of the State people in general.
Others who shared their views in the meeting were Bodh Raj Dogra, Sardar Rajinder Singh, Abdul Rashid Malik, Shakeel Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohd Hussain, Master Sain Dass and Puran Charogtra.
