JAMMU, Dec 3: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Sat Sharma along with Jeet Kumar Angral corporator, Ward No 12 and former Chairman Social Justice Committee, JMC in presence of corporator, Pramod Kapahi inaugurated the renovation work of community hall here at Shiv Durga Mandir, Upper Krishna Nagar Ward No. 12 today.
Former Minister said that the community hall was built under the leadership of former union Minister and MLA, Chaman Lal Gupta. After that as the Minister during BJP-PDP Government he also made some upgradation to the community hall. Now this renovation work has been started for beautification of the community hall by way of laying tiles and Kota stones.
He said that he is very pleased with the dedication and effort of corporator, Jeet Angral. He said that BJP is committed to development of J&K and upliftment of people and in this regard many developmental projects are undergoing in the UT.
Former chairman said that the community hall was built under the leadership of former MLA Chaman Lal Gupta after that former Minister, Sat Sharma also started the work of bathroom.
He also added that a demand by Shiv Durga Committee members for the construction of first floor of community hall has also been forwarded to the Department with direction to fast track the process for approval and he hopes that soon this demand will also be fulfilled. He said apart from this there are other developmental works in progress in the ward.
On the occasion Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, ex- corporator, Balbir Ram, Members of the Shiv Durga Mandir Committee, Suesh Sharma, Puran Pandoh, Rajesh Vaid, Rahul Sharma, Arjun Bamba, Munish Chadha, Ramesh Sabharwal, Ramesh Sharma, Kamal Suri, Ashish Sawhney, Praveen Gupta, Daler Singh, Davinder Bakshi, Anil Angral, Ramesh Kumar, Swarn Smayal, Tarun Angral, Deepak Kumar and Jagdish Mehra were also present.
